Vitamin C helps skin care


Vitamin C is taken internally to help the body with the immune system, to protect from radicals, to keep your gums healthy and boost energy. The average person should have 60 mg of Vitamin C (3/4 cup of orange juice) a day.
If a person smokes, it is recommended they get 100 mg per day. You can get your Vitamin C by pills or by eating oranges, grapefruits or other citrus fruits. It can also be found in tomatoes, peppers, broccoli and potatoes.
In the beauty industry women and men have been trying numerous organic and healthy vitamins, minerals and other substances to help them feel and look younger. Seeking the fountain of youth through mother nature to slow down father time.

  1. Is there such a thing as too much vitamin C? I've heard of people taking mega doses of certain suppliments and having serious sid effects.

  2. Yes, thats true. It's true with any vitamin or mineral. You need to be conscious of your vitamin and supplement intake. I'll write more about this soon.

  4. Okay, I'm going to give the Vitamin C on my face a try. Do you recommend a particular cream or lotions?
    I like the ease of it and am pleased that your are 'out there' reminding us that there are simple solutions ....
    surprised at the fact that I have to be reminded of something so easy!

    Thanks for your comment. I will check on a few Vitamin C boosters for you. Always try to get your RDA of Vitamin C with orange juice, etc., however for additional help, there are Vitamin C serums you can get from various spas/salons (usually in an ampule) that can be massaged into the skin manually or with a machine. Getting a regular facial is beneficial for many reasons. Lots of hydrating masques and other special treatments can be added.
