Then maybe your dog won't give you the "I'm bored" look too. My dog loves to play catch whether it's in the house or in the yard. Throw a bone, ball or other toy and she's off like a shot. 

Also, beware of shampoos and what you might use at home to give your dog a bath. Some of these can be very harsh on your dog's skin, not to mention may cause more problems with their health if they are allergic, or other issues. Check with your vet to be sure.
