Thai Massage and Yoga

Originating in the Far East, Thai Massage is more energizing and rigorous than more classic forms of massage. Thai massage is also called Thai yoga massage, because the therapist uses his or her hands, knees, legs and feet to move the recipient's body in a series of yoga-like stretches. Muscle compression, joint mobilization and acupressure are also used during treatment. People describe Thai massage as both relaxing and revitalizing.

Natural Anti-aging Skin care products

Skin care dates back centuries to healing from hot stones and inhalation of fragrant herbal waters, men and women used various herbs and creams from nature for their anti-aging remedies. One of the more popular ingredients used centuries ago and is gaining in popularity again, is Shea butter, a.k.a. soap bark. It is a natural fat from the Karite tree and the nut. It has been shown to increase blood flow to the skin and provide protection from the environment, as well as moisturize the skin.
Orange oil is often used to reduce inflammation and the eyes and remove toxins from your skin, it may also increase the circulation to your skin and is very moisturizing.
These are a few ingredients that are great in cleansers, and as for moisturizers: Vitamin E and aloe are known for their antioxidant properties and ability to heal the skin. Aloe is also soothing and hydrating. Almond and avocado oils make up the base for wonderful moisturizers with anti-aging effects. Both are known for their soothing and moisturizing qualities. And royal bee jelly, which comes from bees and has pollen, vitamins, minerals and other ingredients that are known to benefit the skin.

Save your sole

Athlete's foot, tinea pedis, not a pleasant subject, but necessary to reveal. Athlete's foot is a very common fungal infection and if not addressed right away and correctly it can spread to the toenails. Common symptoms include: burning, itching of the feet and peeling of skin in between the toes. It can be picked up while at the gym, or in a motel shower or even at a public swimming pool.
People with diabetes and those who have other circulatory problems, are in danger of the infection getting worse, to the point of gangrene if not caught and treated.
A good homeopathic remedy can be found on our website: www.floridaspagirls.net

Fur, Feathers & More

Spas for you pooch? Paws need a pedi or is it a mani? Little Belle or Buster need their fur groomed too. Shorten and file those nails, check their ears and keep them shiny and buff at Faux Paws Pet Spa & Salon. Plenty of dog grooming facilities offer pampering for you beloved pet this summer. Keep your pet hydrated, be sure they get a check up, watch out for fleas.
We've found that grinding our dogs nails down is better. Sounds rough,  but it's safer and better according to the vet. (We'll explore this one some more.)
My dog still enjoys going on long walks, we try to do this at night, if it cools off any. Great exercise for both of us. Be sure to look around or ask other pet owners where a dog park is too, if you don't know. Dogs love to socialize too. They can run until their hearts content. Then maybe your dog won't give you the "I'm bored" look too. My dog loves to play catch whether it's in the house or in the yard. Throw a bone, ball or other toy and she's off like a shot.
Also, beware of shampoos and what you might use at home to give your dog a bath. Some of these can be very harsh on your dog's skin, not to mention may cause more problems with their health if they are allergic, or other issues. Check with your vet to be sure.
