A very relaxing masque Pumpkin's main ingredient is enzyme which helps fight dry air with Vitamins A and C, as well as zinc and beneficial alpha-hydroxy acids. If you use a pumpkin puree, you wont lose any essential enzymes during the canning process.
What you will need:
1/4 c pumpkin puree
1 tbsp plain yogurt
1 tsp grated fresh ginger
3 tsp honey
juice of 1/2 lemon
Combine all above ingredients in blender or with wooden spoon. Apply a thick layer all over your face, be careful to avoid the eyes and mouth. Leave it on your face for about 10 minutes and then gently remove with a washcloth and warm water and maybe a cleanser for your skin type. For drier climates you might want to try this twice week.
Pumpkin Enzyme masques are also beneficial for exfoliating the surface skin (which is dead). You don't want the build up on your face with makeup, dirt and oils.

Drink your way to good skin care?

Skin care and other companies are jumping on a trend to offer "drinkable skin care" products. One company we're researching, Borba Skin Care offers a flavored water drink, claiming age defying qualities. So far there is no scientific or testimonial studies to back up this claim.
We can't replace all of our nutrients, vitamins and minerals with a drink, as wonderful as it sounds. Many of the products out there, whether sold in stores or through independent reps, most of the "nutrients" aren't even absorbed into the body or blood system.

Chemical Peels

Stress, anxiety, pressure of daily life and pollution are visibly reflected in the condition of the skin.
Chemical peels and microderm abrasions are a technique used to improve the appearance of the skin. In this treatment a chemical solution is applied to the skin which causes it to "blister" and eventually peel off. The new regeneration skin is usually smoother and less wrinkled than the old skin and will be temporarily more sensitive to the sun.
Chemical peels can be performed on the face, neck or hands. They are used for:
* reducing fin lines under the yes and around the mouth
* treat wrinkles caused by sun damage, aging and hereditary factors
* improve the appearance of mild scarring
* Treat certain types of acne
* reduce age spots, freckles and dark patches due to pregnancy or taking control pills (melasma)
